Christmas came early for the high school that used to house Brooklyn phenom Joey Bada$$. Due to a successful partnership with the J Dilla Foundation and Akomplice Clothing, the 19-year-old emcee returned to his alma mater, Edward R. Murrow High School, to gift them with $10,000 worth of electronic music equipment to their music program, the Music Institute of Murrow.

During his visit to his old stomping grounds, Joey and his PRO ERA crew  paid a visit to their old teachers and reminisce about when they put their rap crew together. The equipment that was donated will be used to put together a music production room for the students to put to use.
