Take a look into the dark side of Self Conshus’ mind. The Baltimore native steps out of the box on this track. Usually Baltimore hip hop is gritty, rough, and for the street life; however Self Conshus impresses us with a new sound.

“Family Crest” opens up the skeletons in his closet as Self Conshus vividly paints what happens when he is a bystander. Topics of death, suicide, depression, and family pains are all presented. It’s straightforward, no chaser. Self Conshus raps honestly with a smooth flow over a dizzy, cold beat. “Family Crest” is a promising track. I look forward to hearing more.
