Wes Krave is an artist that everyone should have on their radar. He makes good music and isn’t afraid to be his true self. Authenticity is the key. Wes Krave is a man of his own, building his brand and letting his music reach different ears. It’s great to see an artist remain this humble in the middle of their success. We know that Wes Krave has a lot in store for us, therefore we had to snag an interview with him. Peep it below.

Tell us about yourself and your music.

I’m just a positive self made regular person. My music reflects that. I’m trying to influence my listeners in positive way. I want my listeners to be able to take something from listening to my music.

How would you describe your sound?

Feel good music. Southern but with an east coast feel. Just off my lyrics you can tell I grew up listening to 90’s early 2000’s music. Definitely not trendy.

Talk about the experience making your song/mixtape.

Just being in the position where I am today lets me reflect on my past good and bad. Telling myself I’ve came along away and I’m celebrating the fruits of my labor and patience, but at the same time explain to my peers it took a long time to get here you just gotta stay patient.

What are you currently working on? Any new projects? Shows?

Right now we pushing this single but the LP coming out soon By the Code, which is already done. I’m just shooting videos, working on the next project, [and] trying to stay a head.

What has been your biggest highlight in your music career this far?

It’s all a highlight to me. Just to be doing something I’ve dreamed of since I was a kid.

Name your ideal collaboration: mainstream or independent artist(s).

Someone who enjoys and appreciates my music the same way I enjoy theirs. I would want to have met them a couple times and vibed for it to be an ideal collaboration.

Name something random that people do not know about you.

I was born in England or I like watching the weather channel and hgtv.

What’s one thing you have learned or discovered while being in the indie music scene/industry?

Just do your own research and everyone’s path is different. There’s no set gameplan for every artist.

What can we expect from you in the future?

A lot of great music, more videos, By the code, the LP, the DVD and more merchandise.
