Rittz has bypassed the “white rapper” stereotype thanks to his beastly skills behind the mic. Now that he’s successfully completed his freshman tourney in Hip-Hop will a well-received debut, don’t expect the Southern comforter to encounter a sophomore slump with Next to Nothing.
There is also no need to speculate on which highway will drive the execution for the project. The first single “Turn Down” operates on the tried and true accelerated formula that has become the Georgia bulldog’s signature spit. “Up at the Hip-Hop awards, killed the cypher/Paved the way for Gwinnett County, bitch you know I’m Slum/You can listen to my first album/And see where some of these double time rappers got their whole style from,” he confidently raps.
The album will feature the production talents of Lifted and Best Kept Secret (G.O.O.D. Music, Wale, respectively) and showing Rittz facing off with the speedy skills of Twista and Yelawolf among others.
