Nicki Minaj has nominated herself to be the face of a woman’s right to a proper libido and she’s saying it all began with the person standing in the mirror.
The Barbz has returned as cover girl for the July 2015 issue of Cosmopolitan and like Salt ‘N Pepa before her, she’s not afraid to talk about sex. She feels that all women should demand more orgasms from the lover.
“I demand that I climax,” she tells Laurie Sandell in the publication’s feature article. “I think women should demand that. I have a friend who’s never had an orgasm in her life. In her life! That hurts my heart. It’s cuckoo to me. We always have orgasm interventions where we, like, show her how to do stuff. We’ll straddle each other, saying, ‘You gotta get on him like that and do it like this.’ She says she’s a pleaser. I’m a pleaser, but it’s fifty-fifty.”

Obviously that means Meek Mill is currently and will always have to be on his J-O-B. Subliminally, that may mean her ex-boyfriend, Safaree Samuels was not. Speaking of her former flame, she also broke down how her breakup with the sometimey rapper morphed her latest album The Pinkprint into a rather personal testimony, saying it arrived at a “crucial time” in her life.
“I realized that people can up and take off at any given moment,” she reveals. “As women, we are vulnerable and emotional, and that’s OK. I had to learn quickly that if you don’t have a sense of self, you can be destroyed by a man. You can be destroyed by a relationship. I had to ask myself, ‘Who am I? Is this good enough?’ I had to approve of myself and my skills.”
While her partner-in-rhyme (and all other things) recently shut down engagement rumors, but in the distant future, Nicki does see herself settling down with a family. On the song “Win Again,” she promised not to left off the gas pedal on her competition until those children come. Which, 10 years for now, may prove to be good news for artists such as Azealia Banks.
“Ten years from now, I will have two children, unless my husband wants three. I will be into my fitness a lot more…I want to be able to cook for my children, bake cookies for them, and watch them grow up. I just want to be Mommy,” she admits.
