Tell us about yourself and your music.
Audentia DeJesus: I am originally from Elizabeth,New Jersey and now I currently reside in Houston, Texas. I go by the name Audentia DeJesus which means “Bold With Jesus,” however I don’t make christian like music. My music is basically rap and hip-hop genre like however its different from any rap artist you heard before I seem to make music for people that they can relate to, that they can feel hype and just enjoy themselves.
How would you describe your sound?
Audentia DeJesus: My sound, I would describe is a mixture of trap and just basically plain rap music. My sound seems to get people energetic and that’s all I that see whenever I perform my songs. I just bring a whole different flavor and can’t really describe my sound in a certain way but all I can that it is just unique when you listen to it.
Talk about the experience making your song/mixtape.
Audentia DeJesus: It would get difficult when it came to making a mixtape or even a song because you want that have that one song or that one tape that people would seem to forget you and they can be like “Damn this dude can spit” or “Damn this is something different that I heard” you always gotta find that one song or tape that would bring you to the next level.
What are you currently working on? Any new projects? Shows?
Audentia DeJesus: Right now currently, I am working on a new mixtape called “If only you knew” which is one of the best work I’ve done so far in my life. It took me almost a year just to get this project done just finding the right beats and writing dope verses. It also have features with some homies I either went to school with or met at shows. It’s just going to be DOPE!!!
What has been your biggest highlight in your music career this far?
Audentia DeJesus: Right now at this moment I don’t really have a highlight because I’m still trying get my name out there and still working on my music craft.
Name your ideal collaboration: mainstream or independent artist(s).
Audentia DeJesus: The person I would like to collaborate the most will be Jaden Smith. He’s pretty dope and people just seem to sleep on the dude.
Name something random that people do not know about you.
Audentia DeJesus: I am latino; I am a mixture of Puerto Rican and Salvadorian and I do rap a little in Spanish.

What’s one thing you have learned or discovered while being in the indie music scene/industry?
Audentia DeJesus: I learned that it isn’t easy when you trying to make it in the music scene. It takes a lot of effort, hardwork, and dedication. And if you really want it you gotta go after it.
What can we expect from you in the future?
Audentia DeJesus: Ya can expect new music and music videos on the way and hopefully more show performances.
