Spotlight Interview: Real Gutta Music

Real Gutta Music is out here making waves with his music. Hailing from Waco, Texas and experiencing a rough upbringing, Gutta chose music to overcome his obstacles. Being influences by the greats such as Tupac, Biggie, and Scarface, Gutta study all of those before him to develop his craft as an artist. His first project, Nawf 9th Hustler released in 2003 under AkkBad Entertainment and was a success. Now, since moving to Atlanta, he has gained a solid fanbase and solidarity, he was able to complete another successful album, Real Gutta Music.
Gutta has opened up for Bone Thugs -N- Harmony, Big Mike, Juicy J and UGK and many more. Gutta is an artist on the rise and we would like to see what he has coming up next.
This is why we had to do an interview with him. During the interview with Gutta, he caught us up to speed as to what was happening in his career thus far, he spoke about some of his highlights, and talked about some upcoming plans. Peep the interview below.
Tell us about yourself and your music.
Profound individual that came from a humble jagged background. Endured struggle being homeless and hopeless due to a felonious past due to being consumed by the street life. Even though I went through those tough times, it built character and endurance to face any obstacle in my life. Staying Motivated for $uccess despite hardship is what Real Gutta Music represents.
How would you describe your sound?
My sound is real from the heart universal that the whole world can relate to.
Talk about the experience making your song/mixtape.
13 years of making songs, albums, mixtapes etc. is a wonderful experience I enjoy! The whole creative process of forming a song from start to finish getting in a comfort zone is out of this world, which is truly astonishing.
What are you currently working on? Any new projects? Shows?
I just wrapped up a 5-day Texas Tour with No Limit’s own Double Platium artist Silkk The Shocker, which I promoted and booked all venues for the Texas tour. I’m currently working on 3 solo albums that are almost complete Motivated 4 $uccess, Mr. Chatman, Musical Menace Vol2.
What has been your biggest highlight in your music career this far?
Being nominated for Best Artist Of The Year (UrbanUndergroundMusicAwards)
Going on tour with S.U.C legend Lil Keke and getting artist spotlight on ThisIs50!

Name something random that people do not know about you.
I’m a pretty good chef in the kitchen.
What’s one thing you have learned or discovered while being in the indie music scene/industry?
90% is business; 10% is music and presentation of representation is everything.
What can we expect from you in the future?
Abundance of great music consistency on all levels of being a great artist and staying true to myself.
