Tell us about yourself and your music.
Well first off my name is Nino, the hip hop preacher. I started a group called e-lumni four years ago then all the group members kinda went their own ways as far as styles go. so I created e-lumni sounds with is a mix of all of our styles in one brand.
4.yes we are working on the two mixtape the two I mentioned and raw 365 is working on his mixtape also another rapper part of my e-lumni sounds brand. And we are working on dropping some more videos as well maybe I. The future doing some shows.
How would you describe your sound?
Our sound is a different mix of new school a little tradition hip hop to even Christian hip hop. (Laughs). Yeah it just depends on who you get on a track.
Talk about the experience making your song/mixtape.
We made three mixtapes as a group called Test 1,e-luzionz and Empire . I’m putting together a mixtape called a.r.t. all real things coming out in a couple of months and Khing Finezz is dropping his mixtape soon called From the Jail Cell to the Streets. Both mixtapes are so different from each other and mine is more traditional hip hop and his is more new generation type of style. I am working on both projects though, but it’s all under e-lumni sounds. His mixtape will be out soon though. It’s gotta trust me (Laughs).
What are you currently working on? Any new projects? Shows?
Yes we are working on the two mixtapes [that] I mentioned and Raw 365 is working on his mixtape. Also another rapper part of my e-lumni sounds brand. And we are working on dropping some more videos as well. Maybe in the future doing some shows.

What has been your biggest highlight in your music career this far?
Wow, great question! Well recently, we had a guy from a major record label listen to our tracks and music. He was real helpful and he loved the music. He said we needed to work on our brand. It’s funny tho, we spent so much time perfecting the music so people would love what they heard rather than image cause let’s be honest hip hip today is more about image and branding then the actual music.
Name your ideal collaboration: mainstream or independent artist(s)
My ideal collaboration is probably with Kanye West because of how he changed up his music and was not afraid to be different and jump out there and give you something unique.
Name something random that people do not know about you.
Random well… me being Nino3979, the hip hop preacher. I don’t cuss in my rhymes. I used to back in our earlier days, but now I don’t understand feel like you can still go hard without cussing. (Laughs). Not dissing anyone who does it, just if you hear me rapping, I don’t cuss in my raps. I’m more of a producer, not in the sense of making music even though I have help make tracks, but in arrangements as thing of that nature.

What’s one thing you have learned or discovered while being in the indie music scene/industry?

Well the one thing I have learned is as far as promoting, indies have a harder time in getting their stuff heard even with a budget, unless it’s a large budget like a record label has. I just wish it more of a even playing field.
What can we expect from you in the future?
You can expect more music and our brand is getting stronger!
