Spotlight Interview: Hyway Jackson

He’s out here grinding and making a name for himself. Meet, Hyway Jackson, an up and coming hailing from Atlanta, GA. Hyway Jackson has a lot in store for his supporters and new fans. With the release of his latest single, “Presidential,” Hyway Jackson is already getting praise and recognition for his music. I got a chance to interview him to discuss his single, “Presidential,” what’s next for him and of course new music! Peep the interview below.
Tell the readers a little about yourself and your music.
Hyway Jackson. I come from where they don’t make it out. Essex County GreeN MonsterZ.
How would you describe your sound and style of rap?
I’m a Passionate artist.  My purpose is to give you my culture as well as direction.
Talk about your experience making your new single “Presidential”?
Making “Presidential” was presidential (laughs).

What are you currently working on? Any new projects? Any Shows?
I’m currently working on a mixtape that I’m going to drop by the end of the year called “No Way Out.”
What has been your biggest highlight in your music career thus far?
(Laughs). I haven’t reached my biggest highlight until I’m performing in front of millions of people who feel the way I do about certain perspectives.  But thus far I would say me performing at Liquid Lounge with DJ Drama in the building.  I was able to see myself as well as my destiny on that day.  Meaning I’m destined to be a artist.  One who expresses himself publicly.
Name your ideal collaboration: mainstream or independent artist(s)
I’m a open artist. I’m willing to collab with just about anyone.  Let’s all be great and give each other a different walk of life.
Name something random that people do not know about you.
I been believed in myself.

What’s one thing you have learned or discovered while being in the indie music scene/industry?

If you want it bad enough you are going to get out here and take it. Risk TakerZ Global.
What can we expect from you in the future?
Just expect patience.  And my determination to keep you with music.
