These guys have an unique sound and it is a breath of fresh air to hear something so different and good. With harmonizing, good vocals, and a nice rap flow, HLTR$ is a gp that should be on your radar. Hailing from Sweden, the four guys that form HLTR$ are on their way to being a household name. So keep their name in mind and sit back and groove to their music. We recently interviewed the group to talk about their blossoming sound, lessons learned in the music industry, upcoming plans and what new fans can learn about them. Check it out below.
Tell us about yourself and your music.
We are 4 youngsters from Sweden who have been friends since we were kids. We make different styles of rap and have a very mixed genre.
How would you describe your sound?
We usually describe our sound as very mixed between what’s popular. We can make a trappy new school style rap song, while we also can make like a very
commercial funky song which most people would listen to.
Talk about the experience making your song/project.
Well we always wanted to make a EP/mixtape since we started. And when we got in contact with our current manager Petter, we got a contract on a EP with his label Dazed Music and the producers in V&CK. So we collaborated with them and made 5 fire songs.
What are you currently working on? Any new projects? Shows?
What’s most current right now is the EP we guess. But we’re also started planning on a release party/show. But of course we’re gonna try to get out and play as much as possible after the EP release.

What has been your biggest highlight in your music career this far?
Must have been the show we had like a month ago. It was at this high school party, it only was around 200 people there but that’s the most we played for before. Anyways there were bottles splashing over the crowd and everyone jumped, one of us even stage dived 2 times so, it was lit.
Name your ideal collaboration: mainstream or independent artist(s).
We all have pretty different dream collaborations so it’s pretty hard to answer, but I guess people Christer Sjögren, Pontus Rasmusson or Lotta Engberg.
Name something random that people do not know about you.
All 4 of us can actually play instruments like piano, guitar, bass and drums but we never use it in the studio or live or anything like that, but sometimes we jam just for fun.
What’s one thing you have learned or discovered while being in the music industry/business
That there’s A LOT of paperwork, time and energy just to make like one song complete.
What can we expect from you in the future?
Kick ass music, lit shows and hopefully a music video of some sort.
Anything else you would like to share with our readers?
Yeah, shoutout to Tobbe Trollkarl.
