JOMO, hailing from New Jersey like other hip hop acts like Joe Budden and Fetty Wap, is a rapper with a dope flow. Some compare him  to Tupac, Biggie, Method Man, 50 Cent, and Drake. He has many accomplishments under his belt such as :
WHAT I WANT featuring on World Wide Motion Picture Film “Battle Scars”
The Song “27 Wit Regrets” featured on CBS Hit TV Series “JAG”
Jay-Z’s 40/40 Club – Opened up for The Gangster of Comedy Capone
Performed at Atlantic City’s Largest Street Festival “Slaughterfest”
Performed at a Major Hip Hop Event by industry DJ “DJ Envy”
Had numerous Performances at Atlantic City’s Le Grand Fromage
Appeared on WTTH 96.1 The Touch for being dubbed Hip Hop artist of the year
Has radio Spins on 99.3 Kiss fm South Jersey’s #1 Hit Music Station
Talk about great accolades!
The EP “What I Want” is all about JOMO.  He’s being honest in every song in the EP which is refreshing to hear. I’m not surprised that “What I Want” is on a movie like “Battle Scars”. It’s a tough movie and “What I Want” is a tough song. “Jersey Strong” is interesting because it has a repetitive distorted sound but is catchy in it’s own way. This song and “Cocky” and “Lala” all have beats that I can hear Tyler, The Creator rapper on but his flow on it reminds me of 50 Cent. “Clap”, “Wanna Be Freak”, and ” I’m SO Ole’ School” all have that G-Unit vibe to them as well, especially because of the beats. The final track, “25 to Life”, has that Method Man style to it. JOMO’s throwback sound and repetitive sounds in his music definitely make him unique in the game right now. If you’re a traditional hip hop fan you will definitely appreciate JOMO’s music.
