Spotlight Interview: KP of MR. ENT

We respect a man with a plan. Meet KP, owner of MR. ENT label. He is a businessman with viable goals and is making them happen. Working and managing artists is one of his strengths as well as knowing how this music business works. Now he is diving in the rap game himself. Let’s see him as the artist.

Check out our recent interview with KP below.
Tell us about yourself and your music.
I’m CEO of Mr.Ent. My first group was blakhoody and I executive produced and help funded those artists’ solo projects with collaborations with Lil Boosie,Young Dolph,Trouble, and more until I decided to release my own projects because it was to many complications dealing with artist.
How would you describe your sound?
Jacksonville Florida slang with street punchline about trap stories.
Talk about the experience making your song/mixtape.
Making my mixtape wasn’t really a major experience because I already had the work ethic I own my own studio so I just stay recording music but my skills got better with studio experience.
What are you currently working on? Any new projects? Shows?
Yea, I have a couple projects on the way. I have a collaboration project coming with MR.G then Kp sackmoney volume. [Next] the re-up coming the being of the year.
What has been your biggest highlight in your music career this far?
I have a video on Worldstar with me and my old artists at almost 5million views called “We Get it in” under blakhoody.
Name your ideal collaboration: mainstream or independent artist(s).
Right now I’m just on focus building my brand because I’ve set up a lot collaboration tracks with my old artists. It really doesn’t help unless you got a song that’s buzzing and they feature on the remix or they use they platfom to push a the track y’all created if you don’t have that platform already behind you to get it out.
Name something random that people do not know about you.
I’m really antisocial, but with this music, I had to learn how to politic with others.
What’s one thing you have learned or discovered while being in the indie music scene/industry?
It’s a lot hard work if you don’t have a big platform behind you to get your music out.
What can we expect from you in the future?
My intro of Sakmoney tell it all my future plans. I plan on own opening up the doors for my city like bring the spotlight to Duval and bring more artists with me on my journey to success. That’s why I played the back field as the CEO at first, but now I gotta lead by example to show living proof it can be done.
