Spotlight Interview: Meet hip hop artist @PaRan_Musicc

It’s a good day when we discover female emcees. From different cultures, backgrounds, sounds and style, we embrace them all. Up next is PaRan, a new hip hop artist hailing from Germany with a lot to say. We just landed an exclusive interview with the young artist to learn more about her sound, new music, and more. Check it out below:

Tell us about yourself and your music.
I’m a female rap artist from Germany. I’ve just released my debut album entitled “Devastated” I rap about my life and real life issues.
How would you describe your sound?
I’d describe my sound as different compared to what’s popular in Hip-Hop right now. It’s very real and emotional.
Talk about the experience making your song/mixtape.
For this album I went to a recording studio for the first time in my life. It was a crazy experience and the people I worked with were very nice and supportive. Also I’ve learned that making an album is a lot more than just making songs.
What are you currently working on? Any new projects? Shows?
Right now I’m just working on a couple new songs, trying out different styles and flows. There are definitely plans for a second album but that will take some time.
Shows are kinda difficult for me because I’m under age so most venues won’t let me
do shows but I’m trying my best to get one.
What has been your biggest highlight in your music career this far?
I think my biggest highlight is, when people hit me up and tell me how much they like my music. That give me new motivation every time.
Name your ideal collaboration: mainstream or independent artist(s).
I’d love to collaborate with Witt Lowry or NF.
Name something random that people do not know about you.
I love Pandas.
What’s one thing you have learned or discovered while being in the indie music scene/industry?
I’ve learned that you can’t trust most people in this industry.
What can we expect from you in the future?
Definitely more dope projects and there are also some plans for features so you can expect something like this.
Anything else you would like to share with our readers?
If you’re a fan, thank you so much and if you’re not… come on give a young artist a chance
