Born in LA but raised out of state, Samuel Enrique Hernandez (born September 12, 1992) better known by his stage name GRAP3Z, is more than just a rapper. With his distinct taste in sound and diverse way of flow. His music is categorized in many different genres. From underground to a modern style hip hop. In a 6 year period since 14 he has worked along side producers such as P Midus, Wesley Thompson, Johnny B, CiNNA and many more to come. Working on his next project under the label Terror Note Records.
Today GRAP3Z brings to us his new single “Godfather” (Prod. By Eric Flames). Take a listen below:
Right off the bat, the beat goes hard. GRAP3Z has a real street flow to him mixed with that West Coast vibe. He also sounds like G Eazy a little. He has a lot of dope punchlines like “Never had kids but I’m still referred as papi” or “they ask if I record in hell because I always brings the heat”. GRAP3Z boasts his machismo on this track and I’m really feeling it. He is a real lyricist. His flow just goes on as if it’s easy. I love listening to artists who are hungry to reach their dreams and GRAP3Z is one of those artists. Definitely give this track a listen if you love street hip hop music.
GRAP3Z also has a mixtape coming out soon called “Days In the West 2” dropping this June on all media platforms. Be on the look out! Here’s the cover art for it:
