Hailing from Texas, J’Moris has been drawn to music since he was a young boy. While battling the trials and tribulations of life, he found music to be a great outlet. During his college venture at Lamar University, he co-founded the organization Tru Misfitz. Continuing to maneuver more into the music industry, J’Moris found his southern influence played a heavy part in what he does, reflected in his music.
He’s been doing this for a while. He raps about real street life in the south. Check out his visual for one of his tracks “Dope Life (ft. Sunny BoBo)”:
He brings us his new single “K.A.M” which is produced by SupaMario. The instrumental is definitely a southern heavy hitter type of beat. The hard hitting beat goes with his hard rhymes. He’s rapping mostly about street life and how he goes about his things. It also has a catchy chorus that is more like a chant. It’s repeated twice also. I can definitely hear this being chanted loudly by a crowd at a function. I would say he reminds me a lot of T.I and Gucci Mane mixed with 2 Chainz. His ad libs remind me of 2 Chainz a lot but his flow is more related to Gucci. He’s in his own lane though. He boasts confidence throughout this track which is great for any turn up mood. SupaMario also did a dope job of producing this track as well. The mixing is pretty clean. It gives that real street feel. Take a listen below:
