Indoe has been in this entertainment industry for a long time now. After putting in the work and staying true to her dreams and passions, Indoe is able to come to the forefront and focus on her music career. She’s a singer-songwriter with a gift of writing relatable lyrics that her fans can connect with. She’s on her way to releasing her latest EP. It’s safe to say that she is going to be super busy for the next couple of months. We got a chance to do a Q&A with Indoe about her upcoming plans and music. Check it out below.
Tell us about yourself and your music.
Well my name is Indoe and I am a singer-songwriter. I’ve been in this industry for a long time behind the scenes and I’m finally ready to let people hear what I have to say from my own voice.
How would you describe your sound?
I would describe my sound as dope and worldly more than any specific genre because I love R&B music. I love soul music. I love Pop music and there are inflections of all of those things and both my writing style and my musicality. I try to pull from all different cultures and inspirations because music is the thing that puts us all back together again.

Talk about the experience making your song/mixtape.
What are you currently working on? Any new projects? Shows?
I’m currently working on finishing up my EP and getting ready to release my second single. I’m also working as an actress you can see me on episode four of this season of “Power,” which I’m very excited about and I also just filmed Ray Donovan for Showtime as well as Roxanne Roxanne for Netflix.
What has been your biggest highlight in your music career this far?
Name your ideal collaboration: mainstream or independent artist(s).
Once again (laughs), Beyonce.
Name something random that people do not know about you.
Something people don’t know about me… I’m a sucker for Reality TV. I hate that I enjoy it so much!
What’s one thing you have learned or discovered while being in the indie music scene/industry?
The main thing I’ve learned in my years in this industry, is it’s the entertainment-business not the friend-business; watch yourself and always be polite. Always be nice because you never know who you’re going to see on the way up or on the way down. Treat the janitor with the same respect that you would treat the executive.
What can we expect from you in the future?
You can expect so much more! I’m so excited I feel like I’m just getting started. I couldn’t be happier with my team shout out to DLK entertainment and my whole creative staff I’m really excited for the things to come so keep watching.
Anything else you would like to share with our readers?
I’d like to tell the readers to follow your dreams no matter what do not let anyone put their limitations on you. Do what makes you feel happy.
